Car keys fixed, TV remotes on the shelf
Quoted per job
Every remote in the house ends up here eventually. Car key remotes we repair — often for a fraction of the dealer's replace-and-program quote. TV and media remotes we mostly just have: replacement remotes for most brands on the shelf, universals when the original is long gone, and fast ordering for anything we don't hold.

Car key remotes — try us before the dealer
A car remote that's stopped working usually hasn't died — it's had a battery go flat, a button contact wear through, or a drink spilled on it. A dealer replacement runs into hundreds of dollars and needs programming. Bring it here first; often there's nothing wrong that a clean and a new cell won't fix.
- Battery replacement
- Worn or unresponsive buttons
- Cracked or split cases
- Liquid damage — ultrasonic cleaned like any other board
- Corroded boards, up to and including rebuilding damaged tracks
Car brands we handle
Holden, Ford, Toyota, Mazda, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Audi, Lexus, Hyundai, Daihatsu, Chevrolet, HSV, BMW, Volkswagen, Jeep, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Peugeot, Citroën, Mercedes, Renault, Land Rover, Jaguar, Kia, Volvo, Honda, Suzuki, Mini, Rolls-Royce and Porsche — among others. If yours isn't on the list, it's still worth asking.
TV and media remotes — mostly in stock
Replacement remotes for most brands of TV, Foxtel and pay-TV boxes, DVD and Blu-ray players, and streamers like Roku, Chromecast and Apple TV. Universal remotes too, for when the original is beyond finding. Anything we don't have on the shelf we can order in quickly — and if the remote itself is worth saving, we repair those the same way we do car keys.
Worth trying before you replace anything
It costs you a five-minute conversation to find out. Worst case we tell you it needs replacing, and there's a good chance the replacement is on our shelf anyway. Best case you walk out with your own remote working again for a fraction of the price.
Not sure if we can do it?
Ask anyway. We've said yes to stranger requests than yours.
