Printer Ink & Toner
Genuine Epson, Canon, HP and Brother cartridges on the shelf at both our stores, and any other brand, model or laser toner ordered in fast — usually a day or two. Great prices, real cartridges, no waiting a week for a parcel.
Bring your empties in when you come — we recycle them free through Cartridges 4 Planet Ark, and the old cartridge is the surest way to walk out with the right one. How that works

Kyocera, Lexmark, Fuji Xerox, Samsung, Ricoh, an odd old Epson we don't keep on the shelf — we order it in, usually next business day, and ring you when it lands.
Laser Toner Too
Home and office laser printers, mono and colour. Brother and HP toners are usually in stock; the rest come in just as quickly.
Find Your Cartridge
Type your printer model or a cartridge code. We'll show what it takes and whether it's on the shelf at your store.
What your printers take
Manage theseSaved to your account, so nobody has to remember it at the counter.
Check Price & Stock
Tell us the printer or the cartridge number and which store suits you. We'll come back with the price and whether it's on the shelf right now — usually within the hour during trading, and we can put one aside.
Got it — we'll look it up.
Someone at the store will come back to you with the price and whether it's on the shelf. In a hurry? Ring — the counter can check while you're on the phone.
Thirty seconds before you tear the packet
Opened Ink Can't Be Refunded or Exchanged
Once the seal on a cartridge is broken it can't be resold, so it can't come back — that's true of every shop that sells ink, not just us. Sealed and unopened we'll swap or refund it happily. So it's worth a quick check at home before you open anything.
- Hold the new box next to the old cartridge and check the number matches. 702 and 702XL are the same fit in the same printer — a 702 and a 703 are not.
- No old one handy? Check your printer's model is listed on the box or its compatibility label.
- Something's not right? Bring it back sealed and we'll sort it out — no argument, no receipt hunting if it's on your customer record.
The full detail is on our returns policy page.
Never look it up again
We'll Remember What Your Printer Takes
Ask us to put the sale under your name and we'll save your printer and its cartridge numbers on your customer record. Next time you can walk in, say your name, and we'll have the right ones off the shelf before you've finished describing the printer.
- Your printer model and the exact cartridges it takes
- Which ones you actually buy — black only, or the full set
- Any note worth keeping — a second printer at work, the one that only ever takes XL
- And it doubles as your receipt — we can look up what you bought and when, for warranty or for the accountant
Just say "can you put this under my name?" at the counter. It costs nothing, and we only ever use it to serve you — see our privacy policy.
Free — any brand, no purchase needed
Bring Your Empty Cartridges Back to Us
We're a collection point for Cartridges 4 Planet Ark, the national recycling program the printer manufacturers run and pay for themselves. Drop your empties in at either store — it doesn't matter what brand they are or where you bought them, and you don't have to buy anything while you're there.
They Don't Go in the Ground
A cartridge in the wheelie bin is hard plastic, metal and leftover toner sitting in landfill for a very long time. Everything collected through the program goes off to be broken down instead, and the plastics and metals recovered out of it get used again.
What We'll Take
Inkjet cartridges, laser toner cartridges, toner bottles, drum and fuser units, print heads, waste toner containers, even old fax rolls. Any brand at all. If you're not sure, bring it in and we'll tell you.
And It Gets You the Right One
This is the selfish reason, and it's a good one. Hand us the empty and we read the number straight off it — no guessing, no wrong cartridge, nothing to bring back. A photo of the old one on your phone works just as well.
An office, a school or a club getting through a lot of them?
If you're going through more than a few cartridges a month, you can have a proper collection box on site rather than a drawer full of empties. Talk to us and we'll help you get that sorted — and while we're at it, we take old computers, phones and screens for free recycling too, with a free data wipe on anything that stored data.
Worth knowing before you buy the cheap ones
"Compatible" Cartridges Cost Less Because There's Less In Them
The aftermarket cartridges sold in supermarkets and discount chains look like a bargain on the shelf. Two things the packaging doesn't lead with: the ink inside isn't the same formulation, so prints come out duller, streakier and fade faster, and it's the leading cause of clogged heads we see on the bench — a repair that costs more than a year of proper cartridges, when the head can be saved at all.
The other thing is the bit nobody mentions: they usually hold a lot less ink. A compatible cartridge can be a third cheaper and run out in half the pages, which makes it dearer per page than the genuine one it replaced. Compare the page yield on the box, not the price on the ticket — that's the number that actually costs you money.
We only sell genuine manufacturer cartridges. If you've got a printer that's been on the cheap stuff and it's printing badly, bring it in — a head clean is often all it needs.
Out of ink right now?
Ring the store and we'll check the shelf while you're on the phone. If it's there, it's yours — we'll put it aside.
