We built this website. We'll build yours — or help you build it.

A website, a custom app for your business, or a purpose-built gadget that doesn't exist yet. Have it done for you, or build it yourself with someone alongside who's done it — the whole thing you're looking at, and the software that runs our own shop, came off the same bench.

The Ed's PCs homepage as it looks today — the site built in-house that this page is describing.edspcs.com — the actual site, not a mock-up

Pick How Much of It You Want to Do

Some people want a finished thing handed over. Some want to make it themselves and just need the hard bits unstuck. Both are fine, and most projects land somewhere in between.

We Build It for You

Tell us what you need it to do and we build the whole thing — the site, the app, the device — then hand it over working, with you shown how to run it. You never have to open a line of code.

We Build It With You

You want to make it yourself, but not alone. We set the tools up, sit alongside you for the hard bits, and you have someone to ring when it's stuck at 11pm. You end up owning something you actually understand.

We Get You Started

The first hour is the one most people bounce off — accounts, tools, what to install, which of the forty options actually matters. We do that hour with you, point you at the right path, then get out of the way.

What We Build

Three kinds of thing, and they're often the same project — a website that needs a small app behind it, an app that wants a sensor on the wall feeding it numbers.

Websites

From a one-page site with your hours and a phone number to a full site with an online shop, booking and enquiry forms, and content you update yourself without ringing anyone.

  • Fast, mobile-first, built to be found on Google
  • Forms that land in your inbox, not a void
  • A shop that takes payment and tells you what to ship
  • Your own content editor — change prices and words yourself
  • Logos, artwork and print-ready files if you need them too

Software & Apps

Custom tools for exactly how your business works — the job tracker, the stock lookup, the staff app that runs on a phone — instead of bending yourself around an off-the-shelf product that almost fits.

  • Tools built around your actual workflow, not a template
  • Talks to what you already use — accounting, email, your website
  • Runs on a phone, a tablet, the counter PC, or all three
  • Automates the jobs nobody enjoys — the re-typing, the chasing
  • Yours to keep: no monthly seat licence for your own tool

Custom Electronics

A device that doesn't exist until we make it. Purpose-built around Arduino, Raspberry Pi and ESP32 — sensors, screens, buttons, whatever the job needs — plus the software that makes it talk to everything else.

  • Counters, sensors, monitors, controllers — designed and built
  • Touchscreens and menus where the job wants them
  • Feeds its numbers straight into your own dashboards
  • Same bench as our board-level repair work
  • A one-off is fine — that's the whole point

And It All Talks to Each Other

None of these have to be an island. Full API integration with the systems you already run — your accounting software, your suppliers, your CRM, your payment provider — so information moves between them on its own instead of being re-typed. That's exactly what runs our own shop: an order on this website is paid, placed with the supplier and invoiced in our accounts without anyone touching it.

Our Own Proof

We're not describing something we read about. Everything below is running in our own shop right now, built here, and it's why we're confident offering it to you.

This website

Rebuilt from scratch in-house, replacing a template that had drifted years out of date. Online shop, ink lookup, guides, the store picker, the lot — and every page you're reading came off our own bench.

The software running the shop

A family of in-house apps the counter and workshop use every day — job tracking, stock and ink lookups, click-and-collect tracking, the social-media studio, and a link to our accounting system so an online order becomes an invoice on its own.

All talking to each other

The website, the shop software, the accounts and the supplier aren't separate things — an order placed online is paid, invoiced, placed with the supplier and emailed to the customer without anyone re-typing it. That integration is the part most businesses never get.

The whole tech workshop, next

The same system is being extended across the workshop right now — every bench job from drop-off to pick-up in one place, with the counter, the technicians and the accounts all looking at the same record. When a business asks whether we can integrate their whole operation, this is the answer: we're doing it to ours.

Customer service, built in

And the customer-facing side rides on it: click-and-collect orders that email you the moment they land in store, enquiries that reach the right person and get answered faster, and — on the way — checking where your repair is up to without having to ring. Features a business can offer its own customers, not just staff tools.

The door traffic counter

A small custom board on the front doorway that counts people in and out and feeds the numbers straight into our own dashboards — so we know our genuinely busy hours from real data rather than a hunch. Designed, built and wired in here.

The one concept picture on this page — the day the new site went live. Everything else here is a real screenshot or a real photo.

All of It Was Built With AI Alongside Us

None of this took a software house or a six-figure budget. It's what we call Level 3 on our AI page — AI agents that plan and carry out real, multi-step work, with a person steering. It's the same way we'd build yours, and it's the thing we can teach you to do.

The Honest Version

A simple site that loads fast and says the right things beats an elaborate one nobody finishes. If a one-page site is the right answer, that's what we'll say. If a thirty-dollar-a-month product already does what you need, we'll tell you that too, and you won't hear a pitch.

No Rate Card, on Purpose

A website, an app and a sensor on a doorway have nothing in common price-wise, and "build it with me" costs a fraction of "build it for me". So every job is quoted after a conversation about what it actually has to do. That conversation costs you nothing — we'll tell you what we'd build and whether it's even worth building. The work itself is quoted as what it is: these tools are only as good as the person aiming them at the right problem, and that part took a long time to get good at.

One Contact, Not a Committee

You deal with one person who runs the whole project — not an account manager, a project manager and three developers you never meet. Where a job needs a skill outside ours we bring in the right specialist and manage them ourselves; coordinating that isn't your problem. It also means an honest queue, so we'll tell you up front when we can start rather than saying yes to everything.

Tell Us About Your Project

A rough idea is plenty — "I want people to book online", "I need a tool that stops us re-typing orders", "I want to build my own site but I'm stuck at step one". This goes straight to the person who does the work.

Email or phone — whichever you'd rather we reply on, at least one please.

No pitch, no rate card — just a real conversation.
