Video Converter & Reframer
Make a phone video fit a widescreen frame without the ugly black bars. Cut out the bit you want. Put your name on it. Convert it.
Private by design: your video is never uploaded. The conversion runs on your own machine using your own graphics hardware, which is also why it's quicker than the sites that make you wait in a queue.

Portrait video on a widescreen telly
A phone video shown on a 16:9 screen gets thick black bars down both sides. Pick Widescreen and leave the backdrop on blurred video and those bars become a soft, out-of-focus version of the footage itself — the trick every broadcaster uses.
It uses your own graphics card
The browser hands the work to the same video hardware your machine uses for playback, so most clips finish faster than they'd take to watch. Big 4K files are the exception — they're heavy on memory, so do those a few minutes at a time.
What it can't open
AVI, WMV and FLV won't load — no browser can read them, so there's nothing we can do about it from a web page. Modern phone and camera files (MP4, MOV, MKV) are all fine.
